The importance of your urine pH

If your urine pH is too high or too low, some nutritional measures, including the appropriate Lit-Control treatment, can help to correct it and prevent illness. The three Lit-Control treatments are food supplements developed especially for this purpose.

There are different kinds of kidney stones, some caused by high pH and some caused by low pH. So it is important that you know which kind of kidney stone you've got, or have had. That way, you know which treatment is right for you. See our renal lithiasis page for more information. If you aren't sure, your hospital doctor will be able to tell you about your urine pH and which type of stone you may be prone to.

Lit-Control pH Up is for raising the urine pH, and Lit-Control pH Down lowers it. Lit-Control pH Balance maintains the urine pH and inhibits the crystallisation of kidney stones.

COMING SOON: Lit-Control pH Meter has proven to be an easy-to-use and effective instrument for measuring urine pH from a sample. Measuring your urine pH lets you know how to modify it to keep it in a preventive urinary pH range (between 5.5 and 6.2 pH, the non-lithogenic urinary pH range).
